Services and Fees

I offer sessions in-person in Seattle and online across Washington state to adults ages 18+.

Insurance: I am in-network with Premera (including Amazon, Microsoft, and other major employer plans) and plans billed through Premera (Lifewise and some BCBS plans). For other insurance providers, I am considered out-of-network and can provide you with a superbill which you can submit to insurance for reimbursement. In my experience, clients typically receive 40-70% reimbursement depending on their out-of-network coverage. I am happy to help walk you through this process. Note that I do not bill insurance for couples therapy - see FAQ section below for more information as to why.

Individual Therapy

$160 per session

At times life's challenges can feel overwhelming, leaving us in need of a safe and confidential space to explore and understand our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Individual therapy offers a unique opportunity for self-discovery, personal growth, and healing. Whether you're navigating life transitions, coping with stress, or seeking to improve your overall well-being, individual therapy offers a collaborative and tailored approach to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness.

Couples Therapy

$160 per session

Couples/relational therapy serves as a dedicated space for partners to navigate the complexities of their connection. Whether you're facing conflicts, seeking to improve communication, or simply desiring a deeper connection with your partner(s), relational therapy provides a supportive environment to explore emotions and work towards shared goals. Through evidence-based approaches and compassionate guidance, I aim to help couples build stronger foundations, strengthen emotional bonds, and develop the skills needed to navigate life's journey together.

Sex Therapy

$160 per session

Sex therapy is a specialized form of therapy that focuses on addressing the unique challenges individuals or couples may face in their sexual lives. In session, I work to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore and discuss their concerns related to sexual function, desire, and intimacy. Whether grappling with communication barriers, navigating sexual identity, or addressing issues such as performance anxiety, mismatched sexual desire, or painful sex, sex therapy aims to foster healthier sexual relationships and improve overall satisfaction.

 FAQs

  • I do take insurance for individual therapy. I am in-network with Premera (including Amazon, Microsoft, and other major employer plans) and plans billed through Premera (Lifewise and some BCBS plans). Before we begin therapy, I will verify your insurance benefits with my medical biller to provide you with an accurate cost assessment.

For other insurance providers, I can provide you with a superbill which you can submit to insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. In my experience, clients typically receive 40-70% reimbursement depending on their out-of-network coverage. I am happy to help walk you through this process!

  • I do not bill insurance for couples therapy. Unfortunately, most insurance plans do not cover couples/relationship counseling as they do not deem it medically necessary. If your insurance provider states that they will cover couples counseling, what they are likely referring to is a scenario where one partner is in therapy for a diagnosable mental health disorder, and the other partner is present to provide support during session (and is not involved in the therapeutic process).

Because the couple/relationship as a unit is the focus of our work together, then billing insurance as though only one individual is being treated is inaccurate and can be viewed as insurance fraud. In order to protect my license and your access to your insurance benefits, I do not bill insurance for couples counseling.

  • I have a limited number of sliding scale slots available. If you are interested in low cost therapy, please send me a message and I can confirm availability.

  • To find out what your out-of-network reimbursement for therapy will be, you will need to contact your insurance company and ask them about their out-of-network coverage. It's important to ask your insurance company the following questions:

    1) What is the out-of-network reimbursement rate for therapy?

    2) Are there any annual limits on out-of-network reimbursement for therapy?

    3) Are there any requirements that need to be met before I can be reimbursed for out-of-network therapy?

    4) Will I need to submit claims forms or any other documentation to receive reimbursement? How long will it take to receive reimbursement after I submit a claim?

  • I offer both online and in-person sessions. My office is located in downtown Seattle at the corner of 6th Ave and Stewart St (across from the Westin).

Research shows the most important factor in the success of therapy is the relationship between the client and their therapist. No Surprises Act Disclosure

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
  • You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit
